History

Introduced in 1980 as successor to the K-32, the K-80 incorporated improved metallurgy, enhanced trigger system, adjustable ribs, and better ergonomics. Building on the K-32's 1976 Olympic gold medal legacy, the K-80 quickly became the go-to firearm for professional competitive shooters. At the 2016 Rio Olympics, nine shooters used K-80s, capturing Silver and Bronze medals in Men's Skeet and Women's Trap. The K-80 is available in eight versions including the Victoria model with shorter length of pull for women. Krieghoff recommends annual service every 15,000-20,000 rounds. The K-80 has won numerous world championships and Olympic medals, establishing itself as one of the most successful competition shotguns ever made.
