Harrington & Richardson Pardner
Value-priced single-shot and pump-action shotguns, including Remington 870 clones made in China.
History
The Pardner line became H&R's flagship budget offering in the 1990s and 2000s under H&R 1871. The Pardner Pump, manufactured by Hawk Industries in China, was a functional copy of the Remington 870 design with a distinctive humpback receiver. It accepted all 870 aftermarket parts. The single-shot Pardner continued the Topper tradition of affordable break-action shotguns. Street prices often fell below $160, making them among the most affordable shotguns on the market.
