History
Holland's Royal model was first mentioned in 1883. The Royal Side-by-Side features the patented self-opening mechanism added in 1922 involving a tube and spring beneath the barrels. Made from finest chopper-lump barrels with hand-detachable sidelock ejector action, each gun takes about 800 hours to complete. The gun is a favorite of the gun trade because of its brilliant design and ease of maintenance. Available from 12-bore to .410 with scaled actions.
