History
The No. 2 is AYA's most popular and iconic model, often described as 'the pre-eminent affordable sidelock double gun.' Based on the Holland & Holland design, it provides everything found on the pricier No. 1 except the latter's higher-grade wood, gold-washed internal lock parts, and hand engraving. The No. 2 uses laser engraving to cut labor costs and reduce production time while maintaining the same mechanical quality. At approximately $7,000, it delivers 70 percent of what British sidelocks costing $100,000 offer.
