History
The AyA No.1 features an assisted-opening, square-bar sidelock with hand-detachable locks based on the Holland & Holland design. The well struck-up and blacked barrels are chopper lump and made from chrome nickel steel. Internal parts are gold-washed to prevent corrosion, with the inside face of the lock plate engine turned and the bridle engraved. At about one-sixth the price of a best English or Scottish side-by-side, the No.1 offers exceptional value for discriminating shooters.
