History
The Model 785 first appeared in the 1995 catalog and ran until 2002, representing SKB's top production tier during their final years of Japanese manufacturing. From 1997 onwards, the catalog lineup changed to 505, 585, 785 after the 685 and 885 were discontinued. The 785 featured premium walnut, enhanced engraving, and interchangeable chokes. Available in Field, Trap, Trap Combo, and 2-Barrel Set configurations. A special Medallion Series featuring artwork by Ron Van Gilder and Rocky Capece was offered around 2000 in very limited production.
