SKB Arms 585
Mid-range Japanese over/under featuring chrome-lined bores and interchangeable chokes.
History
The Model 585 appeared in catalogs from 1995-1996 and ran through 2002. Available in 12, 20, 28 gauge, and .410 bore with 26" or 28" barrels, the 585 featured chrome-lined bores on all models, lengthened forcing cones, silver Nitride engraved receiver, and SKB Inter-choke system. The low-profile receiver with crossbolt locking system provided durability for heavy use. Variants included the 585 Field, Skeet, Trap, Youth/Ladies, Upland, Gold Package, and a 3-Barrel Skeet Set. A special 150th Anniversary edition was also produced. The 585 represented exceptional value among Japanese-made over/unders.
