History

Simson & Co was a German gunmaker in Suhl, Germany that began producing guns in 1910. Known for finely engraved pre-war shotguns in various gauges including 16 gauge. The company was Jewish-owned and the Nazis took over the factory before WWII. Produced automobiles, bicycles, motorcycles, and firearms. Under Nazi regime, factory was confiscated. Represented high-quality German gunmaking from Suhl before the war. Known for side-by-side shotguns with fine engraving and rifle sights.
