Verney-Carron, established in 1820 in Saint-Étienne, France, is one of the oldest existing French gunmakers with over 200 years of history. Founded by Claude Verney-Carron, the family's artisanship extends back to Guy Verney who was producing shotguns in 1650 - almost 400 years of gunmaking tradition. Rooted in the prestigious Saint-Étienne gunmaking tradition, Verney-Carron represents French firearms heritage.
