History
E.R. Amantino (also known as Boito) is a Brazilian firearms manufacturer founded in 1955 in Veranópolis, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Founded by João Boito, an Italian immigrant blacksmith who began making handmade shotguns in 1921. In the 1950s, Boito partnered with Elias Ruas Amantino to establish E.R. Amantino & Cia Ltda., focused on manufacturing single and double-barreled shotguns for hunting. Well known for quality double-barreled shotguns marketed and distributed in the United States under the Stoeger brand. Known for quality craftsmanship at reasonable prices.
