Ruger Gold Label
Premium side-by-side designed to compete with traditional English shotguns for upland bird hunting.
History
Introduced in 2004, the Gold Label was Ruger's ambitious entry into the premium side-by-side market, designed to compete with traditional English shotguns. Featured stainless steel receiver, blued barrels, AAA-grade American walnut, single trigger with barrel selector, and weighed only 6½ pounds. Extremely limited production over just two years (2004-2006) makes it highly collectible today. Only offered in 12 gauge. Represented Ruger's attempt to capture the upland hunter market seeking classic American craftsmanship.
