Browning A5
Modern inertia-driven semi-auto honoring John Browning's legendary Auto-5 design.
History
While John Browning's original Auto-5 (1898-1998) used a recoil-operated long-recoil system and was the first successful semi-auto shotgun, the modern A5 (2012) is an entirely new design using the Kinematic Drive inertia system. The humpback receiver pays homage to the original, but the modern A5 offers faster cycling, reduced recoil, and improved reliability. Backed by a 100,000 round/5-year guarantee, the A5 is available in 12, 16, and 20 gauge.
