Struggling with consistency on FITASC parcours station 3 doubles

Been shooting FITASC for a couple seasons now, but I keep dropping targets on station 3 where you get that high incomer and low quartering-away pair. I'm running a Browning 725 with Briley extended chokes - usually IC and LM for this setup. My loads are Federal Top Gun 1-1/8oz #8 at 1200fps. Just can't seem to get the timing right on the second bird.

That's a tough pair - I've seen plenty of good shooters struggle there. First thing I'd check is your choke selection. For that quartering-away bird, I'd go tighter than LM - maybe a Mod or even IM if you're consistently behind it. On the timing, try calling for the pair with your gun already moving toward where the second target will be, not where the first one is. What's your gun hold point on that station? Sometimes moving it a foot or two can make all the difference.
