Struggling with consistent lead on crossing targets at 35 yards

Been shooting about 2 years, mostly sporting clays. I'm using a Browning Citori with a Modified choke and Federal Top Gun 1-1/8oz #8 loads. On station 8 at my local club, those long left-to-right crossers keep giving me trouble. I've tried sustained lead but keep shooting behind them.

Those long crossers at station 8 are tough! I had the same issue until I switched to pull-away lead. Try focusing on the target's beak, start with your muzzle just behind it, then accelerate through while pulling away. With that Modified choke at 35 yards, you've got a good pattern - it's more about timing than precision. What's your foot position like on that station?
