Pilla lens colors for late afternoon sporting clays

Been shooting a Browning 725 with factory chokes (IC and Mod) at my local club's sporting course. The last station always gives me trouble around 4-5 PM when the sun gets low. Targets are crossing shots at about 35 yards, and the shadows make them disappear. I'm using the Pilla Panther frame but can't decide between the Outlaw Yellow or the Commander Purple for those conditions.

I run a similar setup with my Beretta 686 and Pillas. For that late afternoon light with shadows, I'd lean toward the Commander Purple (58% light transmission). The Outlaw Yellow (85%) can be too bright and wash out contrast when the sun is angled low. The purple really pops the orange against dark backgrounds and helps with depth perception on crossing targets. What specific Pilla frame are you using, and have you tried the purple in other conditions?
