Just got a Beretta A300 Outlander for trap - what chokes should I start with?

Hey all, brand new shooter here. Just picked up a Beretta A300 Outlander 12ga for trap shooting. It came with a set of factory flush chokes (IC, M, F). I've been shooting at my local club's 16-yard line with 1-1/8 oz #8 target loads. Should I just stick with the factory Modified choke, or would something like a Briley or Muller be noticeably better for a beginner?

Welcome to the sport! Honestly, for starting out on the 16-yard line, that factory Modified choke is perfect - it'll give you a nice, consistent pattern with those #8s at that distance. I'd stick with it for a few hundred rounds to get comfortable. If you find yourself moving back to the 27-yard line later, then maybe look at a Briley Light Full or something similar. What's your average score looking like with that setup so far?
