Just got my first shotgun - do I need to buy chokes or are the factory ones okay?

I picked up a used Beretta A300 Outlander for trap shooting. It came with three factory flush chokes marked IC, M, and F. I've been using the Modified for everything at my local range. Should I stick with these or look into aftermarket chokes like Briley or Carlson's?

Honestly, those factory chokes are a great place to start, especially for a beginner. The Modified you're using is perfect for 16-yard trap - it'll give you a good, consistent pattern with 7.5 or 8 shot. I'd stick with what you have for now and focus on your fundamentals. Once you start shooting more and maybe trying different games like skeet or sporting clays, then you might want to look at aftermarket options. What loads are you shooting with that A300?
