Anyone else find Peltor SportTacs too tight for long sessions?
I've been using Peltor SportTac electronic muffs for about a year now, mostly shooting sporting clays with my Browning Citori 725. After 2-3 hours, they start giving me a headache from the pressure. I've tried adjusting the headband and wearing them over a baseball cap, but no luck. Considering custom molded Decibullz or maybe switching to Walker's Razor Slims.

I had the same issue with my SportTacs - great sound quality but that clamping force gets brutal. What worked for me was bending the metal headband outward slightly (carefully, so you don't snap it) to reduce the pressure. If you're already doing 2-3 hour sessions regularly, I'd lean toward the Decibullz custom molds. The initial fit process is a bit messy, but once they're set, you'll forget you're wearing them. Have you tried any of the gel cup upgrades for the SportTacs before going the custom route?
