Beretta A400 vs Browning Maxus for sporting clays - which handles better?

I've been shooting a Beretta A400 Xcel for about a year now, mostly shooting sporting clays at my local club. I'm consistently hitting 18-22/25 on most courses, but I'm wondering if a gas-operated semi like the Maxus might have less felt recoil on those long crossers. Anyone made the switch between these two?

I've shot both extensively - the A400's Kick-Off system is fantastic for recoil reduction, honestly better than the Maxus in my experience. The Maxus is a bit lighter and swings quicker, but you'll feel more push on those 40-yard crossing shots. If you're already comfortable with the A400, I'd stick with it and maybe try some lighter loads like Federal Top Gun 1-1/8oz at 1200fps. What choke are you running for those long targets?
