Anyone else notice a difference in swing feel between 30" and 32" barrels on sporting clays?

Been shooting a Browning 725 Sporting with 30" barrels for a couple seasons now, mostly at my local club's sporting clays course. Recently tried a buddy's identical model but with 32" barrels on some longer crossers and report pairs. The longer tubes felt like they carried momentum better through the second target, but I'm wondering if that's just in my head or if others have experienced this. My typical loads are 1 oz of #8 at 1200 fps.

Not in your head at all - that's the balance point shifting forward. The extra 2" puts more weight out front, which can smooth out your swing on long, sustained leads, especially on true pairs where you're already moving. I made the same switch on my Perazzi MX8 for FITASC and found the 32" helped me stay connected on those long, looping quartering targets. Some guys feel it slows them down on quick, close stuff, though. What's your average score on your club's course - are you seeing more breaks on specific stations with the different feel?
