Just got my first O/U - what's a good all-around choke setup for clays?
Picked up a used Browning Citori 12 gauge with 30" barrels to start shooting sporting clays. It came with a set of five Invector chokes. I'm heading to the range this weekend and don't want to be swapping tubes constantly. What two chokes should I start with for general practice?

Great choice with the Citori - those are workhorses! For sporting clays, I'd start with Improved Modified in your bottom barrel and Modified in the top. That IM/M combo will handle most presentations from 20-40 yards nicely. If you're shooting true pairs, remember the bottom barrel fires first, so put the tighter choke there for the longer target. What specific loads are you planning to run? Some shooters find 1-1/8 oz of #8 shot at 1200 fps works well for breaking clays without too much recoil.
