Beretta 692 vs Browning 725 for FITASC Sporting - anyone shot both extensively?
I'm a serious FITASC shooter looking to upgrade from my old Beretta 686. I've narrowed it down to the Beretta 692 and Browning 725, both 30" barrels. I've handled both at the shop and they feel different - the 692 seems to swing smoother but the 725 has a better trigger pull to me. Anyone have real field experience with both on long crossers and high overheads?

I've owned both - shot the 692 for two seasons before switching to a 725 that I've been running for three years now. The 692's balance point is definitely more forward, which some guys love for maintaining swing momentum on those 50-yard crossers. But honestly, the 725's trigger system is superior for FITASC where you need that crisp break on fast pairs. Have you checked your stock dimensions? The 692 tends to have more cast-off than the Browning, which might explain the different feel. What's your current LOP and drop measurements?
