The MP-153 is solid, simple, and almost unbelievably low-priced. The MP-153s gas system handles 2-3/4 to 3-1/2shells interchangeably by means of a valve spring that must can hand tightened or loosened to function with a range of loads.

After the initial 100 round break in period (using 1.25oz or great shot), the Baikal will not let you down. I've used mine for everything from turkey to dove, rabbit to sporting clays. The black finish and black furniture hold up well to the elements. It's not too hard to take apart for cleaning either. It may not be the best looking shotgun out there, but you can't beat the value anywhere.
