History
CZ-USA was established in 1997 as the American subsidiary of Ceska zbrojovka (CZUB), a distinguished Czech firearms manufacturer founded in 1936 in Uhersky Brod. The company started in California but relocated to Kansas City, Kansas in 1998, where it continues to operate. CZ-USA designs and imports shotguns manufactured primarily by Huglu and Akkar in Turkey, combining Czech engineering with Turkish manufacturing to offer exceptional value. In 2019, CZ began producing CZ firearms at their Kansas City facility. The company acquired Colt in 2021, forming the Colt CZ Group and becoming one of the largest firearms conglomerates in the world.
