History

Founded in 1976 in Izmir, Turkey by a family with a tradition of rifle manufacturing, Hatsan Arms Company has grown into one of Turkey's premier firearms and air gun manufacturers. Operating from a 45,000 square meter fully integrated production facility with over 800 workers, Hatsan manufactures all components in-house using high-quality German steel and premium Turkish walnut. The company exports 95% of its production to over 90 countries. Hatsan produces shotguns under the Escort brand name.
