History

Founded in 1961 as Cartuchos Deportivos de México in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico (name changed to Industrias Tecnos/Aguila in 1978), Aguila was established in collaboration with American Remington Arms. Now with facilities in both Mexico and Texas, Aguila is one of the largest manufacturers of rimfire, centerfire, and shotshell ammunition in the world. Aguila is the originator of the Minishell - a revolutionary compact shotshell. The company operates one of the few 72-meter shot towers in the world, a method top shotgunners believe is the only avenue to 'truly round' pellets. Aguila sources premium raw materials and produces all components in-house (except powder), ensuring quality control throughout the product range. Over 60 years of excellence serving self-defense, recreational, hunting, law enforcement, and military markets worldwide.
