Country: Italy
Founded: 1948

History

In 1948, just after the end of World War II, Cavalier Ufficiale Stefano Fausti founded his firearms company in the Trompia Valley of Italy, a region famous for gunmaking since the 1500s when its rich iron ore deposits and forges produced the finest barrels in Europe. Stefano's skill and craftsmanship quickly made Fausti one of the region's most sought-after gun designers. Though Stefano hoped for a son to carry on his legacy, his three daughters - Giovanna, Elena, and Barbara - became the famed 'Shotgun Sisters of Italy' who grew the company internationally. In 2009, Fausti USA opened in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Today, Fausti Arms employs 40 people and produces 4,500-5,000 guns annually, maintaining their tradition of quality construction with all components machined from solid steel billets.
